OHL Engineering offers tumble reactors and double cone reactors which are operated in a batch process.
The discontinuous operation allows a defined adjustment of the product viscosity to be achieved, depending on the set batch time. The desired viscosity can be achieved in the reactor with the adjustable parameters; temperature, pressure and time. As each chip is subjected to the same conditions during the process, uniform product characteristics (viscosity) can be achieved, which is of importance to the further-processing of the chips.

Viscosities
For various polyesters, viscosities up to 1,40 dl/g, e.g. for technical applications, can be achieved.
With the batch process, any viscosity possible for the product can be achieved, offering the operator more flexibility.
